Blog#6: Mr.children

I'm Yoshiko

Probably you know them. They are Japanese famous band “Mr.children”. I was recommended them by a person whom I look up to. Then I love their songs.

  Their songs are very tender but when I listening to them I can’t help feeling that Kazutoshi Sakurai who is vocal in this band has great inner strength.

 The title of this is “HERO”. And I like the beginning of this.

　Supposing that the world could be saved

 　When I listening to this song, I thought the man who is in this song is weak, tender but very strong. Probably he has self-awareness of his weakness. I think the strong man is who is like that.  If he appears in front of me, I’m sure that I’m fallen in love with him!!

Blog#6: Our Diva, Utada Hikaru

I'm Haruka.
I have already introduced my favorite music group at Blog#1. So I will talk about my favorite singer, Utada Hikaru!

Some of her CDs. They're my sister's.

Everyone knows her name and songs, because her songs are so popular and we could hear them in TV programs, or commercials, a game, a movie. My sister has been her fan since I was a child, then I began to listen her songs. Now I'm a fan, too! Her songs are powerful and warm. They give me power when I'm bored with my life.

She is a Japanese-American singer. So she worked not only in Japan but also in America and Europe as "Utada". She sings, arranges, and writes her songs. Besides she is very pretty. She is so talented woman!

But she doesn't work as an artist now. If you don't know, please read her comment. This comment was posted in August 9, 2010. It became a current topic. She had worked as an artist for more than ten years, and the word "人間活動 ( a personal life ) " in this comment was unfamiliar and impressed us. Many people responded, "what is 人間活動?"
When I read her comment, I was sad but I accepted her. Because her recent songs are wonderful, but don't change very much. She had worked as a singer since she is 15 years old. She couldn't live her life like we do. She is so talented, but doesn't have something we have. I hope she can get them in "人間生活".


I believe she will become a greater artist !

Blog#6: Stevie Wonder

Do you Know him? He is Stevie Wonder, a singer, a song writer, a music producer of USA. This is my favorite CD of him, Ballad Collection. This CD contains some of his typical famous songs, for example, Ribbon In The Sky and I Just Called To Say I Love You. Have you ever listened to his songs?
He is blind, but people say, he is given a great sense of music from God instead of eyesight. I think it is true. His voice and his songs are true to life for everyone, I think. He has a lot of hit songs, and he have had a first prize in the number of times to bright a Grammy Award of the solo male singer. He is hardworking not only to sing and make songs, but also to do charities.
If you haven`t listened to his songs, I recommend you to listen to some of his songs. You must be healed by his clear, heavenly voice.

Blog#5: My glasses

Hi, I’m Satoru. Today, I introduce my glasses. I have poor eyesight. For that reason, I put on my glasses since junior high school student. Recently, I almost put on contact lens, but I like my glasses. I bought this glasses at Zoff. This glasses is very light. When I put on this glasses, I don’t put on this glasses. This glasses is the third glasses in my life. The first glasses floated to the river. The second glasses was hit the ball. However, this glasses don’t happen. I believe that I good happen when I put on my glasses.

Blog#5: Indispensable item for me

　 This is Yoshiko. I would like to tell you about “a stole”. It is indispensable for me to get over every summer. In summer, the way to go to school is too hot but when we get into a train, it is too cold because assumed that passengers are jammed, an air conditioner is turned on. And in school, class rooms are cold too. So a stole is useful. If you carry a cardigan about with you, the bag is too bulky. Of course you can’t wear a shirt with long sleeves for the weather. And not only in summer, but also in spring and in autumn a stole is useful. It is serve as a muffler.

 　 And it is used as accessories. Stole has a lot kind of design. So, no matter how simple they are, T-shirt and stole are good combination.

Do you like the summer season? Japanese summer is  very hot and stuffy, and conversely many indoor places are filled with too cold air, I think. So, honestly I don`t like this uncomfortable weather, but I can say `I like it！` because of the season we can wear own favorite T-shirts.
 Every time when the summer is coming soon, I feel something excited and enjoy to come across new T-shirt at shops. And of course, I enjoy to wear it and go various places energetically. Favorite Tshirt make me power to manage troublesome hot summer tasks, I think.
I love used T-shirt like this (Look at the picture attached) especially, so the most part of my own T-shirt is used. The charm of used T-shirt is its cost performance. For exaple, this picture`s used one is 700yen. It is  reasonable, isn`t it ?  And I like this very much, so I will wear this for many years. This is a good point of used T-shirt.  I also like its strong individuality and retro atmosphere. I think it`s cool.
